Traditional gaucho knife

Traditional gaucho knife.
Steel 5160
sheet 180 mm long including the button.
4 mm wide at the back, and tapering towards the tip
30 mm wide.
Handle of 110 mm, with chain leather Araucaria wood and brass and bronze cap.
Rawhide sheath is simple.

Great knife. Thanks for sharing. I've seen a few Gaucho knives on a couple of forums recently. They look great. What do Gauchos use them for traditionally? Nice to have you here on the forum. :D
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold.
